Directs Technicians/Engineers which includes staff development, performance appraisal, goal development, training, coaching, motivating and improvement of staff performance to increase the Organization’s effectiveness.
Acts as the focal point for recruiting activities related to sourcing, interviewing, and hiring with IT to ensure that the best possible talent is acquired. In partnership with US functional managers, evaluates performance, promotion, termination, and disciplinary action to maximize team performance.
Supervises training of personnel and recommends, implements, and monitors on-the-job training and education to further professional advancement and overall value of assigned personnel. Identifies training, documentation, and system enhancement needs and coordinates the appropriate resolution to ensure the evolution of process and personnel.
Tracks and reports statistics such as, story completion, audit controls, metrics aligned with Agile methodologies etc. to the leadership team to help them evaluate performance against goals and metrics.
Reviews established metrics, key performance indicators and service level agreements for driving performance.
Establishes relationships and alignment with US functional team leaders, PMO, and Scrum Master(s).
Establishes relationships with other departments and teams to enhance communication and efficiency across the organization to better meet customer needs.
Aligns and understands operational and functional practices to assess teams’ adherence to standards.
Provides onsite leadership for IT India employees, to drive company culture, values, and goals.
Provides situational leadership for severity events to quickly restore service.
