Overview

Lead the full spectrum of finance for the India operations including Financial Reporting, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Taxation, Treasury, Statutory Compliance, and Internal Controls

Responsibilities

  • Manage the outsourced vendor providing the Accounting and Payroll services and ensure full compliance
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process efficiency.
  • Assist in audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Insource following tasks from TMF (to reduce 3rd party scope and costs) – Monthly reporting, ad hoc reporting and other tasks.
  • Work with global stakeholders to conceptualize, design and set up India Finance Shared Services Organization – end-to-end
  • Lead the India Shared Services Centre delivering critical support functions: (AP, TE, AR, GA, FP&A, Internal Audit,)
  • Ensure high-quality, efficient, and scalable service delivery to internal global business units and client-facing teams.
  • Drive service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer satisfaction metrics within the SS
  • Lead transformation programs focused on operational excellence, standardization, process simplification, and digital enablement (RPA, AI, Workflow Automation).
  • Implement best practices across finance and shared services aligned with the demands of a high-volume, fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Hire, train, lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Finance and Shared Services professionals.
  • Foster a customer-first, collaborative, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Develop internal succession planning and invest in capability building for future-ready finance and shared services teams.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Account
  • Overall 20+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting
  • Over 15 years of setting up, managing and transforming shared services of US based company
  • Experience working in global companies and matrix organization
  • Leadership and talent management experience
  • Stakeholder management and site leadership experience
