Applies knowledge of iPaaS toolsets, including adapters recipes, and commercially available tools to design, deliver, test, and support robust, reusable, scalable, performant, and monitored automated business system integration
Continuously pursues no-code, low-code solutions that are loosely coupled, resilient, and self-monitoring wherever possible
Supports vendors who may be under contract to build integrations and who need Paychex support with business logic, integrations, testing, and business engagement
Develops an understanding of the assigned business process and supporting systems and data environments through business and IT partnership, data profiling and analysis using tools to assess quality and cleanliness of data: identify opportunities to improve data quality
Using enterprise data platform and tools, develops synchronous and asynchronous (as appropriate) integrations with Commercial SaaS Applications as well as commercial applications and proprietary applications hosted by Paychex or other hosting partners
Works with partner application subject matter experts to pursue solutions that consider design constraints and optimization of connected systems as well as the interface design
Builds solutions as needed to extract, cleanse, transform, enrich, load and validate all required data for the successful implementation of data migration
Actively participates in Agile Ceremonies and continuously makes positive contributions to a healthy Agile team environment.
Provides effort and time estimates as input to investment decisions, increment planning, sprint planning, etc.
Documents data integration and data quality results and requirements, proposed solutions, configurations and code to provide traceability from requirements through code implementation: develops data monitoring solutions based on defined data quality business rules
Consults with infrastructure and application architects to integrate solutions into the Paychex environment to ensure consistency with Paychex architecture and standards, along with Integration Best Practices
Coordinates the management of tools and platforms so that software patches and software/hardware upgrades are planned and executed appropriately.
Works with capacity planning and performance testing groups to ensure that solutions perform to Service Level Agreements.
Executes installation, connection, patching, tuning and support activities for vendor products
Recognizes process or design inefficiencies and makes suggestions for improvement
Supports methods and solutions that foster the progressive federation of interface creation to a wider set of practitioners
Provides operational support for software products including performance tuning, transaction cost optimization, capacity management and problem resolution
